Marynell is a current undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering and a minor in French Studies. On campus, she's involved in many student organizations, such as the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers.
After graduating, Marynell plans to enter into the energy industry and work as a facilities or production engineer. She has completed internships at the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality and Occidental Petroleum, where she worked as a chemical engineering and facilities engineering intern, completing projects involving corrosion in onshore wells and persons-on-board expansion for offshore facilities.
