Ash Missimo

Ash graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology with Honors and B.A. in Philosophy. For her honors thesis, she conducted an independent research project, which explored influences on children's well-being during the pandemic.

As a student, she assisted two prestigious research labs at UT: one which studies children's cognitive development and another which investigates the treatment of mood disorders. Additionally, Ash obtained a competitive internship with a psychology research lab at Yale University, where she assisted in cutting-edge research on moral development under the mentorship of prominent psychologists. 

Outside of KHL, Ash manages a psychology research lab at the Children’s Research Center at UT. She practices ballet and attends live music shows with friends in her free time. 

Ash finds beauty in personal development. As a recent graduate, Ash recognizes the importance of cultivating ambition for a successful college career. At Kastner Hill Learning, she enjoys providing guidance and instruction to her students, so they can actualize their full potential in the classroom and beyond.
